Have you ever had a pasty? How about a pasty in a wedding dress? Karen is one such person that can answer both these questions in the affirmative. Although this was a wedding in “troll” territory, there had to be some Yooper love, for which dinner provided a suitable outlet. The jury’s still out on gravy or ketchup being superior, but this couple votes the latter.

These two little cuties have been so great to get to know over the last few months. For the time being, the older of the two seems more entertained by his cousin than the younger. What one sees as affection, the other takes in as shock and surprise.

This past year has been pretty crazy for my brother and sister-in-law. It is so great and brings us much peace to see them finally together as a family!
This past February I escaped the blowing snow of Michigan for the warm sun of the Golden Coast. This was my first visit to California and I honestly think I fell for the West Coast life. Everything seemed so laid-back and easygoing. What shocked me most was that people actually waited at a crosswalk if it said “don’t walk” – a far cry from the midwesterner’s hurry to cross the street. Seriously though, I couldn’t get over this!
