The opening video I conceptualized, interviewed, filmed, and edited for Lansing’s SOLA 13 conference. For this project I met with local pastors across the mid-Michigan region to ask their thoughts on the Gospel in today’s culture.
These two are amazing friends. I met them this past summer at the wedding of my “friends-that-could/should-be-my-siblings” Kelly & Kevin and in the little time I’ve known them, I’ve seen how they treat each other and those around them, and it’s great! I loved witnessing them hang out with their friends at their wedding and really care about each and every person there. I’m excited for these two as they begin their life together, and as they continue to pursue their friends with genuine love and respect. Here is their beautiful [and chilly] autumn wedding:
Growing up in the Michels family, my grandparents put great emphasis on the cousins knowing each other and keeping in touch despite the miles between us. It was a great honor and encouragement when my cousin asked that I be the photographer at her wedding. Seeing the family together and being there to capture all their special moments was super fun. And on top of the great family, it was a beautiful party in an old Delaware barn. Take a look at Allison & Nick’s wedding:
